About Testing Center
Mission Statement
The Ventura College Testing Center advances the mission of the College by providing a secure, professional, and accessible testing environment for students, faculty, staff, and community members. The services we provide demonstrate our commitment to excellence, inclusion, and lifelong learning. The Testing Center upholds academic integrity and adheres to the National College Testing Association's (NCTA) Professional Standards and Guidelines.
Program Description
The Testing Center has been developed to serve both faculty and students. The Testing Center proctors make-up exams for instructors who have students who are unable to take a scheduled exam; assists the Educational Assistance Center in proctoring exams for students with special needs; and proctors exams for students in the community who are taking distance learning courses. The Testing Center is a member of the National College Testing Association.
Location (Temporary Location at LRC Building)
The Ventura College Testing Center, located in LRC-128, provides proctoring services for faculty who approve their students to take make-up examinations. Make-up examinations must be emailed to vctesting@vcccd.edu at least two days before the makeup test is to be taken. Once approved, students must schedule an appointment with the Testing Center. A valid photo ID is required to take a make-up test at the Testing Center. Students and visitors will enter via LRC-128.
