Kimaree Gilad, oboist, soloist, recording artist, festival artist and recitalist, is Oboe Faculty at CSU Northridge and Ventura college. Her orchestral performing career includes being a member and featured soloist of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra from 1983-2013, press applaud “lyrical melodies with velvety sounds”. Has performed with renowned orchestras and ensembles such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and others.
Ms. Gilad’s recordings span orchestral, chamber, film, and contemporary music. Was part of the Grammy Award-winning recording of Penderecki’s Credo. Motion picture recordings include Matrix movies.
In the Festpel in Piteo, Sweden, she was hailed as “the highlight of the program.”
