Name: Anne Paul King
Primary role at the college: Executive Director, Ventura College Foundation
Years of Service: 6.5 years
Family: I have been married to my best friend, Brewster King, for 30 years. We are so proud and blessed to have our two kids, Cameron, 21, and Alexandra, 24. Cam will graduate with his bachelors in Electrical Engineering in May. Alex lives in DC and is working towards law school. I was raised in Hawaii, and my husband is from Boston, so my family is literally all over the map.
Hobbies: I LOVE to bake, cook, hike, watch movies, listen to live music, and, gather with friends and family.
Favorite Food: Great fresh fish of any kind, prepared in every way, for any meal of the day.
Favorite Movie: Oh my, so many, August Rush is a great one.
Favorite Song: Sugar by Sister Sparrow is my current favorite. Son of a Preacher by Aretha Franklin, Lovely Day by Bill Withers, Shot Gun by George Ezra, North Dakota by Lyle Lovett, and Odds Are by Barenaked Ladies all tied for second.
Something fun, interesting, and/or unique about you: I picked up the ukulele since the start of the pandemic, it's been fun getting back to my 4th grade roots.

Family: Mom & Dad, three sisters; Mom just retired in October 2020, Dad works in the Agricultural field, all three sisters are teachers in the Oxnard School District.
Hobbies: Traveling, mountain biking, exploring breweries, Litecoin

Something fun, interesting, and/or unique about you: In 2016 I attended "El Clásico" Barcelona vs Real Madrid in Barcelona, Spain. Top 3 bucket list.
Name: Jessica J. Flores Esquibel
Major: Associates in Child Development
Years at Ventura College: 3.5 years
Family Life: Married with 2 children
Hobbies: Arts and Crafts and reading
Favorite Food: Fajitas with mushrooms in garlic butter and bake potato.

Something fun, interesting, and/or unique about you: I don’t know, I have a degree in Dentistry from Mexico. I decided I wanted to change my field to Child Development, after seeing how the speech pathologist helped my children to be able to communicate, and that helped with their behavior as well as helped them to reach school readiness. I’m really thankful for them and wanted to be able to be part of the process of helping other families and children.
