The goal of the Student Activities Program is to provide opportunities for students to learn and grow through a wide variety of activities and experiences. Participation in the Student Activities Program includes two major areas: student government and college activities.
The Associated Students of Ventura College (ASVC) assumes major responsibility for coordinating student activities and expressing student concerns, interests, and viewpoints to the administration and college community. The ASVC is made up of an elected student government that represents the student body.
Some of the college activities a student can experience – through the Student Activities Office – include participation in Clubs & Organizations, the use of campus facilities, approval of postings on campus bulletin boards, and a Ventura College student ID card.
